Cold Wars 2006

Monday Night Adventurers went to Cold Wars last weekend (March 17-19, 2006) and had a great time. Battle reports from our games may get posted here but the short take is that we ran four games and got to see a lot of good games this year. Attendance was good, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was down from previous years. The Rome theme to the convention seemed to work well, I saw many, many Rome themed games in all scales from the micro 5mm stuff to some very big gladiators (13’s plus I believe). No bad players, which long time Games Masters always appreciate. I didn’t buy much, some tools and three nicely painted dinosaurs from RLBS which were a steal at $10 each. I feel like I need to get more caught up before I buy anything else.
