The Monday Night Adventurers are a group of people who play games with miniatures. The games range from Fantasy and Science Fiction Games to games based on History. The group has been playing since 1982 and regularly runs games at Historicon and Coldwars.

Miniatures are, of course, toy soldiers. The hobby of playing games with miniatures involves collecting the figures, painting them, building the terrain for the games, reading about the history, playing the games, and of course telling stories later about your wins and losses. It is a great hobby.

"Little Wars" is the game of kings - for players of an inferior social position. It can be played by boys of every age from twelve to one hundred and fifty - and even later if limbs remain sufficiently supple,- and by girls of the better sort, and by a few rare and gifted women.
